This is one of the most intriguing games of the round. Elche could guarantee their top-flight status by picking up a draw, but nothing but a win will do for Barcelona who, if they can win this and their last game, will retain their league crown.The race for La Liga has seen many twists and turns up to now and there could be another one in this game. Elche have so much to play for, while this is their last home game of the season so they will be going all out to try and get at least a point and they could get it considering their home form. In this second half of the season, Elche have not lost once at home - a record that not even Barcelona boast.After drawing at home to Getafe last weekend, Barcelona coach Tata Martino practically threw in the towel regarding his team's chances for the title and his future at the club, which looks set to end very soon. For this reason, it will be interesting to see how he will set about motivating his players and getting them fully switched on again and, more importantly, behind him.Despite scoring goals still, Lionel Messi has not looked so content in recent weeks or even months. Yet, after securing a new deal with Barcelona that will see him become the highest paid player in the world next season, with the title on the line there will be no more excuses for the 2012 Balon d'Or winner.
