Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Divorces His Wife Anita?
Arguably, one of the most famous couple-pastors in Nigeria is Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife, Rev. Anita Oyakhilome of Love World Assembly, aka Christ Embassy Church.
However, with the latest information emanating from the United kingdom, where the Oyakhilome's resides, the couple may have divorced or separated secretly from their marriage.
According to a report published in the UK on Wednesday, 28 May, 2014, most of the members of Christ Embassy Church in the UK are beginning to show concerns on why the couple has not been seen together both in the church and outside the church lately.
In an attempt to find answers to their worries, some members of the church have allegedly went to open a Facebook page which they call 'Where is Rev. Anita Oyakhilome?

The page administrators who are based in the United Kingdom and are strong members of the church, stated on the page that they are very worried about the absence of Rev. Anita Oyakhilome in the life of Pastor Chris.
While demanding demanding to know her whereabouts, the members stated on the facebook page that they wondering what has become of the clergywoman.
According to comments on the facebook page, Rev. Anita hasn’t been seen in the Christ Embassy Church where she pastors since November, 2013, and there were no explanations given, as to her sudden disappearance and the church has been left without a pastor since then.
In one of the posts on the page, the members want to know the real truth about her mental state as there are speculations she may not be really sound upstairs, while they are also wondering if their Senior Pastor had divorced the wife without the members knowing.
In another post, the group reported the summary of an earlier speech made by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, where he admonished his members not to question anything they see or air their opinion on any matter in the church.
He pointed out in the speech, that any church where the members air their views never grows.
Below is the summary of pastor Chris Oyakhilome's Speech on 16/05/2014 in a meeting with all UK Pastors and Deacons at Christ Embassy, Bermondsey:
"I am here for your concerns about the ongoing domestic issue with my wife and I know it affects you directly, being the ones under her leadership. This is not an organisation or a political party, so it's not a place for you to air your opinion or scrutinise what we do.
We had a vision, started and you joined us. If you don't like what we do, you can get out. Churches where members air their views never grow. Some pastors wives think when they marry a pastor they are equal to the pastor.
My wife thinks so, as a matter of fact, Rev. Tom was her pastor before I married her and Rev. Ray and Evang. Owase were her leaders long before I married her. How come she thinks she's senior to them now? I already started Christ Embassy before I married her.
I didn't marry her and said we should start Christ Embassy. I was already pastoring. I already set my sail and knew my direction before I married her. I only said come and help me. Be careful of the friends you keep.
My wife keeps friends who bring out the worst in her and help her see the worst in people instead of keeping friends that will help her vision especially as the wife of a global pastor like me.
Bitterness is prolonged and accumulated anger. My wife is always angry and bitter. Allegations are either false or twisted information. The current situation is not as a result of what I did or what I didn't do.
I didn't do anything to have caused an upheaval. You don't join a woman to fight her husband. I'm not teaching you what is wrong, at least I have 2 girls who will one day marry and I want to them to enjoy it.

Adamawa University Students Allegedly Targeted By Boko Haram
Adamawa State University officials have been receiving written threats from unidentified sources over the last 2-week period.
The dire content of the letters substantially raised tension at the campus among the students and the leadership, who believe they were written by Boko Haram. Referring to its source, Sahara Reporters provides that the letters are not fake.
It has been learnt that in fear for their lives many students fled the only hostel, "Barde Hall", available to men. After Saturday night spent be the majority without sleep, the popular "hang-out" hostel became almost empty.
Speaking with the newsmen several students confirmed the information saying that many hostel occupant had left campus for the nearby town seeking for the shelter.
Monday got the remaining occupants even more panic-stricken, when they found the note covered with blood on the wall. Written in Hausa, in translation it read: "Last warning". Horrifically, a piece of flesh was pinned to the note.
The University Vice Chancellor Dr. Alkassum Abba immediately arrived at the institution after having been notified about the incident. The terrified students asked him different questions in connection with the insecurity issues, but found his answers unsatisfactory.
Many students are reportedly packing up to leave the hostel.
It would be recalled that the National Assembly has recently extended the emergency rule in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states, mostly affected by insurgency, by 6 more months.
People all over the country feel insecure after the bloody attacks launched in the recent two months, including abduction of nearly 300 of Chibok girls in April and a series of explosions in Jos over the last week.
Borno Women Repel Boko Haram Attack
Some women in Attagara and Kawuri villages in Gwoza and Bama Local Government Areas of Borno State, on Monday reportedly repelled attacks on their community by suspected Boko Haram sect members.
Attagara which is a border town with Cameroon is about 10 kilometres South-East of Pulka District in Gwoza, and its about 130 kilometres from the state capital Maiduguri.
According to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity, about seven of the sect members stormed the village on motorcycles and met the women.
He said some of the assailants tried to hit the women with sticks but surprisingly when they raised the sticks their hands could not descend.
"Three of the insurgents fled, but seven were not lucky as the women alerted the people," and the vigilante group in the community rushed to the scene, disarmed the seven insurgents, who were later lynched" he said.
In another development, some members of the sect met their waterloo yesterday following the joint efforts of members of the vigilante youths, popularly known as Civilian JTF, and the military in Kawuri village, Bama Local Government Area of the state.
Mamman Yakubu, a 20-year-old vigilante member who participated in the fight said: "We were able to kill many of the terrorists who invaded our community yesterday night".
Yakubu disclosed that they (vigilante) were not interested in arrest because the sect members doesn't spill their secret when arrested.
A high ranking military source confirmed the incident, and revealed that three bodies suspected to be Boko Haram members were recovered yesterday morning in Kawuri.
He said other terrorist members were also killed in the same village while attempting to flee to the Sambisa Forest.
Jama'atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda'awati Wal-Jihad popularly known as Boko Haram in Hausa which means "Western education is sin". The terrorist group which has its strong hold in the northeastern part of the country, Cameroon and Niger, has carried out several attacks and bombings which have claimed thousands of innocent souls in their quest to Islamise the country and put an end to what they described as westernisation.
The sect, who is also responsible for the abduction of over 234 school girls from GGSS, Chibok, Borno State, is suspected to be responsible for the twin bomb that went off in Jos, the capital of Plateau State where over 200 lives were lost. The militants also carried out a suicide bombing in a football viewing centre in Jos, which reportedly claimed over four lives.
The sect's menace has however, attracted the attention of international communities like Britain, France, U.S, China, Israel among others, whom have all volunteered to help the Nigerian Government in flushing them out as well as rescuing the kidnapped school girls.

The 2014 UEFA Champions League Final will be the final match of the 2013–14 UEFA Champions League, the 59th season of Europe's premier clubfootball tournament organised by UEFA, and the 22nd season since it was renamed from the European Champion Clubs' Cup to the UEFA Champions League. It will be played at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal, on 24 May 2014,
between Spanish sides Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, making it the first final in the tournament's history to feature teams from the same city.
The winners will play against Sevilla, winners of the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League, in the 2014 UEFA Super Cup, and also enter the semi-finals of the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup as the UEFA representative.

The Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal, was chosen as the venue of the 2014 final at a UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Istanbul, Turkey, on 20 March 2012.
The home stadium of Benfica since 2003, it was rebuilt to host matches at UEFA Euro 2004, including the final. Before its demolition in 2003 to make way for the new 65,000-capacity ground, theoriginal Estádio da Luz hosted the 1992 European Cup Winners' Cup Final, where Werder Bremen beatAS Monaco 2–0, and the second leg of the 1983 UEFA Cup Final, where Anderlecht secured a 1–1 draw with Benfica to lift the trophy.
The last time the European Cup Final was played in Lisbon was in 1967, when Celtic beat Internazionale 2–1 at the Estádio Nacional. Lisbon also hosted the 2005 UEFA Cup Final at the Estádio José Alvalade, home of Benfica's local rivals and finalists Sporting CP, who lost 3–1 to CSKA Moscow.
Background
This is the first final in the history of the competition that will be disputed by two teams from the same city.
This is also the second all-Spanish final, after the 2000 final between Real Madrid and Valencia, and the fifth final between teams from the same country, the others being 2003 (Italy), 2008(England), and 2013 (Germany).
Real Madrid reached a record 13th final after a 5–0 aggregate win against defending champions Bayern Munich, making it the first time the club had reached the final since they won their record ninth title in 2002.
Previously they won finals in 1956,1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1966, 1998, 2000, and 2002, and lost in 1962, 1964, and 1981.
This will also be their 17th final in all UEFA club competitions, having also played in two Cup Winners' Cup finals (losing in1971 and 1983) and two UEFA Cup finals (winning in 1985 and 1986).
This is the fourth Champions League final for their current coach Carlo Ancelotti, who previously coached Milan to victories in 2003and 2007 and defeat in 2005, equalling the recordshared by Alex Ferguson, Marcello Lippi, and Miguel Muñoz.
He will aim to join Bob Paisley as the only manager to have won three titles, and also become the fifth manager to win titles with two different clubs, after Ernst Happel, Ottmar Hitzfeld,José Mourinho, and Jupp Heynckes.
Atlético Madrid reached their second European Cup final, 40 years after their first, after defeating 2012 champions Chelsea 3–1 on aggregate.
This is the longest wait between finals, eclipsing the 38-year wait by Internazionale (1972–2010).
Atlético Madrid's only previous European Cup final in 1974 ended in defeat to Bayern Munich after a replay.
Atlético Madrid have also played in three Cup Winners' Cup finals (winning in 1962, and losing in1963 and 1986) and two Europa League finals (winning in 2010 and 2012), with their most recent Europa League triumph in 2012 led by current coachDiego Simeone. U.S. Deploys 80-Man Drone Force to Help Find Nigerian Girls
Eighty American service members are on the ground in North Africa to oversee drone operations in the search for the 276 abducted Nigerian schoolgirls, the Obama administration said Wednesday.
The White House formally notified Congress that the troops are in the neighboring African nation of Chad. The mission includes 40 people to operate and maintain the Predator drone and 40 more to protect the force.
“These personnel will support the operation of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft for missions over northern Nigeria and the surrounding area,” President Barack Obama said in a letter. “The force will remain in Chad until its support in resolving the kidnapping situation is no longer required.”
The White House notified Congress under the War Powers Resolution, which kicks in when armed U.S. forces enter a foreign nation’s territory. All 80 are combat-armed for personnel protection.
US Drone Scans Eastern Nigeria for Missing Girls
The schoolgirls were taken more than a month ago by the Islamist terror group Boko Haram, which has demanded the release of militant prisoners in exchange for freeing the girls.
The commanding general of U.S. Army forces in Africa was sent to Nigeria earlier this month to help the Nigerian government in the search.
Uniformed American military were already in the region to help with embassy security and to coordinate with the Nigerian government. It was known before Wednesday that the Predator drone was involved, but not that it was based in Chad.
Boko Haram is believed to have carried out two attacks in Nigeria this week alone — a twin bombing in the city of Jos and an assault on three villages. In all, more than 166 people were killed.
Manchester City consider Benatia move as Mangala deal stalls
Manchester City are set to turn their attentions to a move for Roma defender Mehdi Benatia as a deal to sign Porto's Eliaquim Mangala grows increasingly complicated.

Mourinho’s goalkeeping headache: Cech or Courtois?
It seems the biggest problem confronting Jose Mourinho this off-season is not the search for a potent - and regular - goalscorer afterall.
No, it’s deciding on the future of the perenially on-loan goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

United capture Kroos, close on Shaw;
MANCHESTER United can thank former manager David Moyes for reeling in the first big name of the Louis van Gaal era.
The much-maligned Moyes, who was dumped in April, actually agreed a deal to bring star German midfielder Toni Kroos to Old Trafford for $37 million earlier this year, according to The Daily Mail.
Putting the finishing touches on Moyes’s hard work will certainly be one of van Gaal’s easier jobs this off-season.
So, with Kroos and Luke Shaw, who has reportedly signed after Southampton agreed to a $50 million deal, now secured, van Gaal is turning his attentions to Arjen Robben and Borussia Dortmund centre half Mats Hummels.
But attracting the jewel of the Bundesliga crown - Thomas Muller - may prove more problematical.

Man Makes 2 Big Cheek Holes For The Sake Of Art
Young German model was used to be an ordinary child until he started experimenting with piercing at the age of 13.
Joel Miggler, who now has two big tunnels in both of his cheeks, started his "art" experiments with stretching the earlobe, then he had his tongue forked, and to crown it all Joel stretched the artificially made cheek holes to 36mm in diameter.
The 23-year-old doesn't plan to stop here, and wants to stretch the tunnels to 40mm.
"I've cut them three times and stretched them many millimetres."
When asked if it hurt to eat, Joel said it was just difficult, thus he "plugs" the holes to eat soup.
Miggler has no problems with private life, however some people find this kind of art strange. The model says he doesn't care what haters think and say about him.

the idea of pythons slithering all around you while you are trying to relax is okay, then you might want to take a trip over to the Cebu City Zoo in the Philippines. This unconventional service is available for free and any interested person can try himself.
Meet your personal masseurs – Michelle, Walter, EJ and Daniel – all of them are Burmese pythons who are considered to be one of the five largest snakes in the world. The so-called spa-procedure consists of typical massage techniques administered by zoo staff members.
First the snakes are taken our of their cages and alternately placed on a visitor’s body, while he is silently lying down on a bamboo flooring in the open air. Then the ‘patient’ is slowly but thoroughly massaged for up to 15 minutes.
Like all snakes, Burmese pythons are carnivorous. Their diet consists primarily of appropriately sized birds and mammals. The snake uses its sharp rearward-pointing teeth to seize its prey, then wraps its body around the prey, at the same time contracting its muscles, killing the prey by constriction.
With four of the 5m-long snakes weighing a combined 250kg, there is no escape once the ‘treatment’ starts. In order to avoid accidents all the snakes are well fed – each python is fed 10 or more chickens beforehand – and volunteers are briefed on how to behave with the animals.
Safety precautions include: do not to blow air on the snake, as this makes them nervous; do not to shout for help as the snakes can feel your vibrations and think you’re prey or a predator; do not try to stand up on one’s own.
The snakes’ movement is believed to offer sensations that a massage therapist’s hands cannot, and being covered by the slithery serpents induces fear in customers, releasing adrenaline into the body — believed to positively affect metabolism.
Over 200 feared killed in Jos explosions as corpses litter mortuary floor
Officials say 15 of the injured victims brought to the casualty unit died just before midnight.
The casualty figure from the Jos explosions has increased to over 200, disclosures by emergency and health officials and body count by a NAIJABETARENA reporter have shown.
The National Emergency Management Agency had on Tuesday night said the casualty figure from the twin explosions stood at 118.
Abdusalam Abubakar, the North Central Coordinator of the Agency said this at about 10.00 p.m.
However, when NAIJABETARENA visited Plateau Specialist Hospital early hours of Wednesday, an official confirmed that 15 of the injured victims brought to the casualty unit died just before midnight.
Demne Kut, a laboratory manager at the National Blood Transfusion unit of the Plateau Specialist Hospital, said most of the 15 victims died during treatment due to loss of blood.
He said although there were a few donors volunteered to donate blood, the hospital needed a lot more to treat the victims.
“Yesterday (Tuesday), we had 15 persons who came and donated bloody freely to the National Blood Transfusion,” he said. “We are calling for more donors.”
Also, apart from the dead already properly dressed and kept in the mortuary, NAIJABETARENA counted at least 52 other corpses on the floor of the hospital mortuary including that of a little child.
Most of the corpses seen on the floor of the mortuary were women and children, including seven pregnant women.
Also at the mortuary of the Jos University Teaching Hospital temporary site, which is adjacent the blast scene, the corpses, about 100, were piled upon themselves and thus difficult to count.
The situation was similar at Bingham University Teaching Hospital.
In most of the hospitals visited, officials declined comment as they were busy trying to attend to injured victims.
However, a medical personnel at the Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH, who pleaded not to be quoted, said about 120 corpses were brought to the hospital, while injured persons were rushed to the permanent site for medication.
Meanwhile, the Jos main market, where the two explosions occurred in a spate of 15 minutes, remained closed on Wednesday morning.
The Plateau Police Commissioner, Chris Olakpe, had said on Tuesday that the area would remain shut until the police concluded its investigations and the debris were cleared.
Mr. Olakpe also explained that corpses and the injured were taken to four hospitals.
These were the Plateau Specialist Hospital, Bingham Hospital, Jos, as well as the new and the old (temporary site) Jos University Teaching Hospital.
When NAIJABETARENA visited the hospitals, hundreds of families and friends were seen trying to locate the remains of their relatives or the injured ones.
Christiana Paul, a 500-level Medical Laboratory Science student of the University of Jos, said seven of her course mates died in the blast.
She said five of the corpses had been found, two at the Plateau Specialist Hospital Mortuary.
“The seven of them are my course mates, we are in 500-level. They went to Terminus to shop and the bomb caught up with them. Two bodies are here at the Plateau Specialist Hospital Mortuary,” the student said in tears.
Also at the Plateau Specialist Hospital, one Usman Adamu said he came to recover the body of his landlady, Amina.
He said the victim was at the market to buy a dress for her brother’s daughter who is about to wed.
A cleric, Godwin Ejeh, of Kingdom Dominion Chapel, Dadinkowa, told NAIJABETARENA that his 18-year old daughter, Shekina Ejeh, who was sent to the market to buy groceries, died in the blast.
Keneng Choji, a civil servant, also said she lost her daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, and a neighbour, to the explosion.
She said her daughter-in-law was a fish trader at the market.
Some of the Muslims seen at the Plateau Specialist Hospital were already taking the corpses of their relatives for burial according to Islamic rites.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast although it is believed to have been carried out by the extremist Boko Haram sect.
The group has killed thousands of people since its insurgency began in 2009.
